I'm fascinated by carousels. The conjure up childhood memories of carnivals and fairs; and all the sights, sounds, and delicious treats of those magical events. I was at our local mall recently, waiting for someone near the carousel. One little boy was riding on it, his mother close by. I wondered if an adult would be allowed to ride on the animals (without a kid in tow), just for old times' sake, and if anyone had ever asked. I didn't have the nerve, would you?
This week, please include a carousel image/theme in your collage. You can use the link feature below to add a link to your blog posting showing your carousel collage.
Here are some images to inspire you. They're all from Wikimedia Commons.
Spring time - weddings - bride and grooms anxious to begin their new life together. The challenge this week is to feature a bride or groom (or both) in your art work. I am giving you poetic license to create whatever mood you think suitable for your bridal couple, or maybe it is just a bride or just a groom.
I would love to see your artistic creations in whatever format you prefer. To share your work please use the link provided or post a link to your blog etc in the comments.
This is not the first time, probably not the last time either, that I forgot the challenge. I had it in my mind all week and even Sunday morning I remembered that I have to think of the challenge and post it later. But after my morning latte, I totally forgot it.
But let's make this now very easy for me and very fun for you. We have now open challenge - you can create what every you like. Let you creativity flow. :))
